Hands-on approach combined with biomechanics

A scientific approach using data and movement patterns

From a career in playing professional golf full time and over 15 years of coaching I have a clear idea on what I value is important when it comes to coaching. I base my approach on data, science and movement patterns.

Every player is different and every movement is different. It’s important you understand the WHY as well as the WHAT. Too many players come to me and from previous coaching don’t know why their body reacts the way it does and don't have the clarity of where to start. My ultimate goal is to help players take ownership of their own game and overtime be able to add an element of self coaching to their armory. We work together, i just don't tell, i show and we explore what's best for each individual.

Cause and effect is key. Understanding that every action has a reaction. I like to make sure my players focus on whats important and not get bogged down with stuff thats not. There is no one way to stand, hold the club, take the club away and so on. Based on your tendencies at impact we build back and make your move more functional.

Coach not a teacher

I work in a collaborative way, I like to have fun and ultimately I like to improve people's game. I am not a teacher, I am a coach.

I am so lucky to do what I do and to meet some really cool people along the way. Every player I take on gets 100% from me for the long hall, I am there to get the best out of your game. I am not a tweaker, I am a builder and I like to build repeatable, sustainable patterns that will perform under pressure.

“Brilliant. I saw an instant impact on my game. I understood the golf swing a lot more as Chris explains it in a way that’s very simple.”
